So, I'm still struggling to get a nice shadow effect (special struggl'ish music in the video included 🤣).
I wonder if anyone has thought about implementing 3d shadows into a 2d game. I played a lot of 2d games in my youth, but can't recall any with the effect I'm trying to achieve.
