Not so Trash Panda
A downloadable game for Windows

Bends, Dents, and Curves

When we first came up with Not so Trash Panda, we knew it should be a fun and goofy game. It shouldn't borrow from realistic visuals, but should be cartoonish in it's own way. We wanted to give each prop a sort of expression to their existence by giving them a couple of bends, dents, and curves. Here's a few models from the game I made using Blender and Substance Painter.

The Trash Can

When you think of a raccoon, you can imagine them digging through the trash. To get an idea of what things could look like in our game, I started modeling the trash can. Taking inspiration from cartoons such as Hey Arnold or Spongebob, I started with the basic trash can style from those shows. After I made the standard cylindrical can, I took the proportional editing tool, grabbed some faces on the model, and pushed and pulled them until I was content with the interesting style it ended up being.
