Update 3: Content
After tons of work (and a short break), Update 3 is finally here!
I am submitting this update as an entry to Improve My Game Jam 33. While a majority of the update was done outside of the jam, here is what was done during the jam:
- Most of the tutorial
- Final touches on the new level art
- New tower upgrade paths
- New enemy waves & rebalancing of difficulty system
- Lots of overall balancing, polish, and other tweaks
- Everything in the Secret Bonus Itch Update
This will be the final major update that I will post on itch. I am now moving work to creating the first steam demo, so wishlist the game to find out when the demo is out!

Now on to the full patch notes! I wont include some of the smaller things that released with Mini Updates 1 & 2, so check those out if you have not!
- More polished overall unit placement
- Automatic difficulty system
- Lots of new effects
- Contract system
- Missions are randomly selected, as well as a difficulty close to the players current strength.
- Higher difficulty rewards a greater contract completion bonus, and slightly increased mining yield.
- Pause/Settings button during missions
- Popups to give information for upgrades as well as unit placement.
- New Armor & Penetration mechanic
- Some enemies (currently only crabs) can have levels of armor.
- Soldiers have a new Penetration stat that determines how much armor they can penetrate.
- If Penetration is less than the enemies armor, damage is greatly reduced.
- Emergency exit button
- Allows you to leave mission during enemy waves, at the cost of losing any unsold ore.
- 4 all new missions
- 2 new soldier upgrade paths
- Rifle -> Sniper
- Auto Pistol
- Optional tutorial
- New enemy waves
