Healing Items and UI Improvements

Srogue
A downloadable game for Windows

Hello everyone! Thank you again for your support of Srogue. 

This week we were refactoring on the coding front and creating new item icons and UI. We have plans for the next wave of items and some of the designs have been finalized and are ready to be implemented into the game. 

We are still working on the active item UI indicator. Four of the new items are finished and the last two are waiting for visual effects to be done. Items now have a specific border for the type of item that it is. Passive items will appear with a red background, while active items will have a blue background and body parts will have a green background.

Added Items:

False Tail: Take less damage when your body parts are hit

Helmet: Take less damage when running into enemies

Panacea: Regen health faster

Knowledge Apple: Instantly heal all health on activation


Items waiting on visual effects

Cursed Bullets: Striking enemies has a chance to damage enemies around them

Bonded Destiny: Killing an enemy has a chance to instantly kill another

Other Changes:

-Gaining an item that adds a body part will no longer also add the given next part

-Added a custom cursor

-Added a pause menu

-Adjusted health values

-Different colored borders will indicate the type of item in selection
