A Stupendous Start to Summer

I'm back!

Quick update time!

• I moved again. It's been a tumultuous experience. This is my landlord's first property and they don't know the rules and refuse to follow the rules of our Province regarding rentals. They've broken a few. This has led to a lot of strife.
• My work schedule has changed. Instead of hectic, random days of the week where I work 11 hours, it's now consistent month to month but it's 5 days of 8 hours. But due to not having my own car, my days end up stretching 13 hours long at my work because I have to be dropped off early and wait for my ride.
• I finally got back around to recasting my last 2 secret characters Ophaniel and Wyatt. Well, one of them at least for now. Not sure why getting someone to settle down and do a few lines for them is so hard but hopefully this is the last time. (And I truly appreciate everyone who tried to volunteer their time for it, I guess schedules just didn't match up or interest waned as soon as you received the part, I just wish I hadn't been waiting for so long!)

• Since about Sept/Oct of 2023, I've been working on a new project while I was waiting for voice lines (yes, an entire 8 months I waited to try and get lines). Rathe, which has been teased on my social medias and itch.io is on hold until this new project is dealt with. The new project is fully 3D and includes various genres including platforming, action, adventure, a bit of horror, and is a whole lot of cute. Once I have the third level finished and can make some more promotional material, I'll be advertising that so that should be fun!
• Once I get the final voice lines, everything else is on hold as I finish Rainbow Heartbeats. I'm ready to rid myself of this project. I love it, it's definitely an amazing project for someone who has little to do with the gaming industry and all the hats that are needed to work in it. But it's been 4 years (with mostly 1.5 being me not being able to work on it for one reason or another) of Rainbow Heartbeats, and it's time to move on! I'm NOT looking forward to playtesting this beast 😂

That's it! Sorry it's been so long since the last update but life, regretfully, comes first. Hopefully in the next few weeks here I'll have voice lines to include so I can devote my time to programming and then playtesting.
