06/01/24 - "Second Layer" Release
Hello, this is Garrett Thompson, sole member of Act-Novel. In the last Development Notes entry, I mentioned that the second layer was in "beta", implying that a release was right around the corner. That entry was posted over a month ago, though! It took a lot longer to get things in order than I initially thought it would. Why, you ask? Well, let's go down the list...
At any rate, it's more-or-less ready to go now, so there's no use putting it off any longer! Thus, please look forward to it on June 1st. It will be releasing simultaneously to the itch.io page and the corresponding Steam demo, so you're free to choose the version that best matches your preferences.
It's just a short update this time. I'll be back with a more elaborate one after the Second Layer finally comes out!
