[ Week 2 ] - Devlog 6 - 12 may 2024

Shaman's House
A downloadable game for Windows

Details of game development in week 2 are as follows based on each role :

Game Designer  

  • game UI references 

Looking for Game UI references in Game UI Database ( Game UI )

  • Create Layout UI Game Menu

Create UI Game Menu Layout in the form of title screen, Loading screen, Game Menu, Setting Option , and Mid Game.

Game Artist

  • Creating 3D model characters

The 3D model's art style is low poly with textured images by photo based.

  • Collecting and creating texture

Because most of the 3D object textures are photo based textures, the textures are obtained by taking photos, or looking for free license images. Then the image  textures will go through the editing stage, both in terms of color and shape, to suit our needs.

  •  Create a base environment  (wall and floor)

The map/environment layout that has been designed by the designer will be added as a reference, then in 3D, artist will  trace the shape of the reference layout.

4. Implementation of door mechanics, drawers, drawer locks

5. Implementation of chest mechanics and locks as well as flickering lamps
