Devlog 4: Getting Back To It

Howdy.

So much for weekly updates, huh? I ended up hitting some roadblocks with figuring out better map generation, and lost a lot of motivation. Ultimately, I reverted back to the old system and I figured I'd go back to it later. 

I added music, sound effects, and new visuals to everything, though I'm not sure they all "mesh" as much as I'd like. They'll do for now, though. The only weird issue I've run into is that the exit room sprite doesn't show up if I try to add a normal map to it, so I'll need to figure that out.

I've finished all the stuff in my initial plans, but I'm still going to refine it before moving on; mostly making the enemies look better and changing how the shooting works.
