This release was focused on fixing bugs and also to polish the dashboard UI. I'll break down the big changes below and list some of the other fixes.
The share code button has been moved away from the play button and next to the server browser. Since this option won't be used as often this placement makes more sense.
As part of this the share option has been moved into a separate modal.
The screen to recruit new heroes has been updated to include some flavour text on the bottom left. This really helps to get some of the details I have written on paper into the game and make it feel more complete in terms of the narrative/world building aspects.
The relics screen has been updated to include SFX for relic appraisal and a visual effect too. The bonus item effects are now highlighted in yellow and any relic you have not yet appraised will be marked in yellow in the inventory listing on the left side.
Relics you collect on the map now display above your head at the correct (smaller) size too. They used to display in front of the player sprite which didn't look very clear. Very happy with the size change as the proportions look correct now.
Now all energy weapons will have the glow effect to show this is a laser type weapon. Just showing Jareds laser pistol as an example here. The timing of the shooting vs the animation timing could do with some further updates. Planning this for a future bug fix update.
