v0.53 Update: JP G1, Samples, and More

Ever run into enemies but realize you don't have the right moves?

Samples

When opening Treasure Chests, there's a chance you'll find a Sample.

Samples are Moves represented by the Circle button in battle (Image 1).

They can only be used once, and disappear when you exit the dungeon.

Every idol can only hold 1 Sample at a time.

Press the Special tab to check your OG and SMPL (Image 2).

Yes. This is an active version of B-Sides.

Initiative

Pay attention! It's Initiative Points (IP).

From now on, collecting Seiso Orbs gives you IP.

If you have 10 IP or more, you get first turn, but lose 10 IP.

With under 10 IP, the enemy jumps you, but you keep whatever IP you have.

Your IP and the first-turn-cost is displayed on the bottom left (Image 3).

Get your Kickbacks ready!

Stage Pity System

Each time you enter the dungeon and don't see a Stage, you're more likely to see a Stage in the next dungeon.

Balancing

Enemy stats were adjusted. Floors 1 and 2 should be a lot more manageable now.

Permanent Bench

The Bench now only spawns once, if ever, and doesn't disappear when you touch it.

So, if you don't have enough SP for training, you can come back after gathering more.
