Thank you so much to all the players at A MAZE! It was such an honor to be a nominee. While there, I got so much amazing feedback and had the chance to observe many people playing the game. This update is the result of all of that feedback. It smooths the gameplay experience, greatly clarifies the design, and also greatly enhances the interactivity, all while adding JUICE. There is an EASTER EGG now too, due to request hahah. And the ending of the game is quite different. Note that to plant mushrooms in the hubzone, the new control is to HOLD E.
An incomplete list of changes:
1. NEW ENDING
2. EASTER EGG
3. Hub zone is far more reactive to player actions.
4. New pause menu with FOV slider for UNHINGED gameplay.
5. Easier platforming in the tutorial.
6. Slam targeting reticle when over extractors.
7. Greatly enhanced mushroom planting animation.
8. Add signage to clarify player objectives in hub zone.
9. Enable grapple/jetpack in hub zone if purchased.
