Hello world!
Yet another devlog, and as our sprints are coming to and end, so does our end goal, which we are happy to say that is looking really great.
The biggest addition is the task mechanism which is fully working now, besides that our unique choice mechanic is also in place code wise and some mini-games are already hooked up to the tasks. The UI is fully coded and also has art, which I will show in the next section. The programmers also fixed some bugs and issued by other team members (sorry for deleting code Leen).
This week was dedicated more on filling in the gaps, UI took a huge chunk of work too, adding player feedback and preparing for the artstyle changes with the postprocessing volumes. Like every week, I will let the images do the work. Oh and we also have a cute balcony now.
In the sound department the focus is player feedback as well. Fixing audio issues here and there and making sure that the style is consistent. Some sounds had to be remade because of the change in art and direction and reimplemented straight via C++, so there is not much to say, it's still the nitty gritty. Done some research into how they made the sounds for Windows XP , pads and pianos, very orchestral and ethereal overall and I wanted to mimic that for our game.
