Hey homies,
It was a long and stressful week, but I've finally made it through the damn pub scene! Expectations were tempered and corners were cut, but it was all in the name of progress and I think everything still turned out great. There's still some editing to finish on those renders and there are a few gaps in the scene that I've already found, but it's safe to say that at least 99% of that scene is now complete! Thank the Goddess...
Admittedly, the numbers aren't as high as I wanted them to be, but between my day job, trying to catch up on subscriber posts, I felt really burnt out and took a few nights off. Still, I'm excited to get started on the next section. I've only done a handful of renders, but I remade this scene and now the renders have been finishing in mere minutes rather than hour(s).
I'm tempted to speculate on an approximate release date, but I'm not quite comfortable throwing anything out into the ether just yet, lest it comes to bite me in the ass later on. However, the release is definitely close on the horizon, and I'll probably be more comfortable announcing a loose estimate in the near future.
