Alright first update mainly looked at fixing various bugs that cropped up after initial release. Next update will be more content focused.
To note: OLD SAVES WILL NOT WORK. I AM SORRY
In depth reasoning here, I have had to tag all items in the game with an ID and add them into a central list for function referencing. This is to solve some of the current bugs and improve long term stability. It is a change best made now and early rather than later on, but means that existing saves will not have the appropriate variables in place.
Notable changes:
- Reworked some of back-end Item logic and functions
- Event encounters has been slightly reworked in the back meaning you can encounter the same event a few times a day at different likelihoods. (Original logic accidentally delete all instances after an encounter each day -_-)
- You can now select links by pressing buttons. Pressing 1 will activate the first link, pressing 2 will activate the second and so on and so forth.(It's not perfect due to how I use twine but it's pretty useful.
- Tasks now sort according to their task #
- Luck increases no longer break certain events
- Time of day limits put in place in some areas to avoid hitting spooky time.
- Added Leisure Center lift
- Removed Typing from the intro. I liked it but not as much as I can't stand people complaing about it.
