With the Pak 40 the Germans gets their own AT-gun and don't have to use the Russian F-22 anymore. The Pak 40 AP and HE shells differ in weight and muzzle velocity leading to different trajectories. This required improving the in game gun sight to support range values for different shells. So now the gun sight will adjust depending on which shell you have loaded. The Soviets don't have this issue since their AP and HE shells weigh about the same and are shot with a very similar muzzle velocity.
To see the Pak 40 in action you can now play the Steppe map as Axis defending against a Soviet attack. For the first time this map also includes a radio to call in artillery support.
In addition to this Unreal Engine was upgraded to version 5.4. It was advertised to bring better overall performance, but it seems the performance is only better under very special circumstances. So WW2 FPS performance remains the same.
