Hey everybody, we're back with some updates on our beloved project
Lets kick it off with the:
One of our members has put some time into animating the character. No animations are in the build yet, but you can already take a look at what they could look like
They are nicely looped, but further testing is required to have them added.
(We may have added one in the build already)
Our UI assets also have been improved. You can see mock-up here. The live version is in the Development section!
During our testing phase this week, we also tried removing the outline shader to see how it looks, and we ended up liking it more!

During testing, sometimes our players would be confused about their movement direction. Currently we are busy with adding a ring and direction arrow to the player's base.
This will be added in next weeks build!
The main menu also is being worked on. The game will start in a saloon where all players will be able to pick their hat. The saloon is already in a game-ready state:
We are looking to start on the main menu as soon as the contract system has been improved
Speaking of, lets get into the:
The UI is in a fully working state!
Every time a contract is assigned, a little animation will play. After that, the contract gets tabbed so less screen space is used!
Our ammo system is also implemented. After shooting, the bullet will "recharge". After a short delay, the player hears an audible click indicating that a bullet was reloaded, allowing the player to shoot again
The weapons were also re-balanced to be a little more fair.
Sounds are in the process of being added, but they are not fully done yet. This week we already have a hit sound and a reload sound.
