Hello you, 2 people and a bitchass ½ of a person, welcome to the Naiko’s Room Devlog of April. The last one was posted in March, so you could say there’s a streak going, huh? Let’s hope I can keep it up until Chapter 2 is released. Speaking of Chapter 2...
So far, development has gone pretty much entirely on 1 out of 2 routes, which by itself has plenty more to go. I would approximate Chapter 2 to be uhhh... 60% complete? Yeah, that sounds like an accurate percentage. With this upcoming month, I am hoping to finish the rest of the first route and to begin work on the second which, by its more simple nature, shouldn’t take as long. If I were to stick my hand in the fire and assume the general release date of Chapter 2, I would say... late June? Early July? That general area.
And with that, the most relevant part of the post is over. You can go now. Shoo. As per usual, I really don’t know what else to write about. I hope this post won’t have as many errors. Has anyone noticed how I cannot write for shit? Ideally, no. That’s alright, I’ll just gaslight you into thinking that I can... In case you were considering my seriosity in these posts, I hope this confirms it as non-existent.
What else about the game, uhh... You know how Chapter 1 was, like, 90% reading? Yeah, through hard work and sheer fucking will, that percentage has been reduced to... 89.99%!! Joking, of course, but I’ve been focusing and going out of my way to attempt to make the game a little less... visual novel-y. This is a horror RPG, damn it, it has to act like one! Even with no battles, sometimes you could use a weapon...
