Dzzee 1.7.0 lands with universal Win32 support. This is a 32-bit Win32 executable that can be run from Windows 95 to Windows 11 (any CPU architecture that supports running 32-bit x86 binaries, which includes e.g. Windows on ARM). It offers a variety of renderer API selections, depending on the graphics card generation:
The build needs a CPU that supports i586, so Pentium / AMD K5 and newer.
In addition to covering nearly 30 years of mainstream operating system releases, Dzzee 1.7.0 also brings macOS support (Universal Intel and Apple Silicon support, which really means x86_64 and arm64), starting only with macOS 10.14.6 (a retro build might be provided in the future, the APIs used should still work fine on macOS 10.4 or something, although I haven't tested this yet). The macOS port uses Cocoa, OpenGL and OpenAL, and is signed, so you should be able to open it even with Gatekeeper enabled.
