Baa~! Say hello to Mocha!! This goat is ready to serve...!

Mocha's two stages are focused on trash management -- a new stage hazard has been introduced.

A challenger appears~!

Say hello to Sencha~! Sencha is a tanuki in charge of her own tea shop. She has a big surprise for you...!!

Sencha is the first character provided by a guest artist. They would like to remain anonymous...!

Two new Special Weapons have been added -- Rika and Sencha have been given the Cherry Bomb to replace the removed Spritzer. Mocha gets the Shrink Ray.

  • The Tutorial level has been replaced with a series of granular tutorials that appear during normal play.
    • We needed a way to introduce new concepts we add without making more tutorial levels!!
    • Each tutorial has to be completed before it can be dismissed.
    • Tutorials can be reset through the options menu.
  • The Pause menu has been revamped with actual buttons, to make it harder to accidentally leave a level.
    • Pressing ESC will now return to the game, instead of quitting.
    • Quitting now explicitly requires pressing the quit button.
  • Icons have been added for special weapons.
    • The active special weapon is shown in-game so you are reminded which one you are using.
  • Fisk's alternate form has new artworks for levels 6 and 7.
  • New sweet variations have been added.
  • Stages are now more varied -- every character now has their own preferences on what sweets appear first. Rika really likes ice cream..!
  • The character select interface now tells you at a glance which characters you have not played yet.
  • To remind you that you are playing suika mode, Rika's stage template has been customised.
  • You will now be notified when you unlock an achievement.
  • Improved keyboard-only navigation.
  • Added a new cheat code (hint: which character is the biggest...?).
  • P is now assigned as an extra "back" keybind, as browsers may leave fullscreen when pressing ESC.
  • The logo has been iterated one final time.
  • The game now pauses on focus loss.
  • Balance: The scoring algorithm has been tweaked slightly, as small sweets were granting too few points.

You have noticed now that the character list is running out of space!! A future update will change how this appears as more characters are added.

  • Fix: Fisk's alternate form side art not appearing.
  • Fix: the achievement SFX not being on the correct audio bus
