A new update on the development of Ludus is here! Introducing a first glance at some characters and the ability system.
The first gladiators have arrived! We focused on designing a basic character for each of the main roles (excluding support for the time being) to have a solid base to start working with.
These are preliminary designs that are subject to change, but they represent the level of detail we plan to achieve.
Their names and ability kit are yet to be determined, but they will be soon ;)
But what would these characters be without some animations? These are responsible to bring life to our characters.
For now, the animations in mind are an idle pose, a walking animation and a basic attack animation, which are present on every character independent of their ability kit.

More animations will come in the future alongside their ability kit development.
Advancements were made, leading to the creating of the core ability system.
In this case, a simple ability was added launching a ball at the cursor's direction.
