v3.1 - Always room for improvement
Pretty quick update. I always seem to think of little improvements to wording and formatting after I commit to an update so apologies for any confusion caused. Even now I have more changes incoming for 3.2.
Changes
- Changed wording for Jokers in Cards section
- Decided to go with "darkness" instead of shadow for the sake of consistency
- Changed "Leader" to "Torchbearer"
- This felt better thematically
- Made the choice a bit clearer for the Ending The Game section
- Shortened the Crawl In Shadowdark RPG section
Changes I kinda wish I could make but decided against
- For finding monsters in the Dungeon Entrance I really wanted to show that this game isn't fucking around by saying that the player who pulls it simply perishes but dying before play technically begins is too harsh so I am opting to keep it as is, like as if the player spots a monster and just goes "NOPE" before moving on in a search for a torch.
