Here is a summary of the main visual changes. This release was highly focused on fixing all the bugs that have been around for some time. I seem to have achieved that and fully cleared out my bug list. This is by far the most solid demo release of the game.
Now at any point you can return to the main menu from the dashboard area. Small but big improvement as you need to access the main menu to adjust settings/options.
The enemy turn logic made me unhappy for a very long time. I have now spent much time to rewrite the code to fix the AI logic and also adjust the timers to make the gameplay flow much smoother.
Added this new feature suggested by a Play tester. Underneath the cards we will display a helpful tip to help you (the player) understand what each card will do.
This will also dispel any confusion over the no card selected button.
Fixed a really annoying bug on enemy animations in the battle scene. Enemies will no longer be a static sprite.
Now we have a new section in a tabbed options display. This will explain current game controls.
Overall this has been a crazy good release. Too many bug fixes to list and a few new quality of life features added. Very happy with how everything is turning out at this point and I'm getting a renewed confidence in my game. I think making the deadline of June for the Steam Next fest is highly possible now.
