#update
While I definitely went into this Image Tools business with three main tools in mind, the shared UI and convenience methods have been quite useful for other tools too, like my Colorize Tool, and this week's Frame Tool!
If you've ever wanted to make a resizeable background in Ren'Py using the Frame() displayable but struggled with getting the numbers, this tool is designed to help you out. The common code has been updated so you can access the Frame Tool from the central image tools screen, plus a few very minor tweaks. In particular I'm adding version numbers to my releases, so you'll be able to look at the header of a tool and know whether you're on the latest version or not. You must update image_tool_common.rpy if you have Frame Tool for Ren'Py, but otherwise it is optional (though recommended).
If you haven't already, you should check out my tutorial on Frames as well, here: How to make resizeable backgrounds in Ren’Py with Frame. It walks you through what Frame is and where you might find it helpful for your project. I'm also planning to release an accompanying version of this tool that will act like a "playground" and "challenge area" to test your knowledge of Frame and how to apply it, so keep an eye out on my itch.io for news of that!
