This is the 4th installment in my GameDev journey. Obviously inspired by Astroids (1979), this game helped me learn more about character controls and game physics alongside learning about sprites and particle effects. I also spent more time on this than the previous games because had some life stuff to take care of and took my time fleshing out the gameplay and visuals to make it a bit more of "my game" than a generic copy of its inspiration like the other ones were. I did lose the browser build with the quality jump, the previous games were already significantly slower in the browser anyway, so I knew it wasn't going to last long.
In the end, it took about a month to complete and I am extremely happy with the results. Now that I have learned all these new things, I can hopefully make the next one faster without losing the quality I achieved here.
