"What dramatic first two days you had at Bullwhip Wrestling.

You said hello to the world's grumpiest IT-guy and your new coach! Did you feel welcome...?"

"You met the management, and they might have been livelier than you expected. Oh, boy..."

"You stumbled upon four potential tag team partners with very different attitudes. Any you felt like getting to know better?"

"And a big announcement was made. Sheesh... what will you do?"

"You've got a lot of work ahead of you. And a big, important decision to make.

Well, you'll get little help from me, I'm afraid. I'm just a lowly Bullwhip commentator after all.

I do want to express my appreciation, though, for giving Bullwhip's chapter 1 a spin. After publishing it, there was a lot of very kind feedback, and it means the world.

There were also some bug reports and helpful comments in the project's Itch page discussion forum. That's also a great help. Thank you for making us wag!

Being a commentator, I'm a bit of a statistics junkie. I'll share some with you, awoo!

Two months after release, Bullwhip has been downloaded about 6.600 times and added to over 900 Itch collections. Most who have visited the project's page have discovered it through Itch's own game listings. Many seem to be interested in furry, bara and LGBT content. Who'd have thought, I happen to love that too! 

The game's currently been rated 87 times - wow - and many have even left review comments for us to devour. So nourishing, we're lapping up every drop.

Oh, and yes, I was supposed to tell you that a new version of the game was uploaded too. Don't get too excited though, it just fixes a few errors, there's no new content. I'll sum it up for you:

Version 0.0.8 changes:

• Corrected error in coach Renga's dialogue when he talks about Bullwhip Wrestling's golden days
• Made a small change to Dallas' dialogue when he announces the tag team tournament
• Added a missing entry to the credits page

But I'm happy to say that work has started on chapter 2. What's planned for it? I'll tell you!

• A new encounter with each of the four husbandos - Emerson, Thorne, Bale and Felix - what are they up to?
• Meeting me, your favorite wrestling commentator! I can't wait! :3
• Also, someone kindly asked that we added Android unique icons to the game, so we'll try to do that

I'm sure other things will come up as well, but these are on top of the list for now.

Uh, when will it be out?

I don't dare to give you an estimate, they tend to boomerang back into our faces. Still got a lump from the last time - ouch!

Edit 5th of May 2024: I had made an error that caused the game to start around halfway in these builds (version 0.0.8). I have therefore rolled out a fix for it (version 0.0.9) and replaced the files.
