Hey everyone!
If you've been following the game's progress on Kickstarter (where I post monthly updates available for everyone to read, not just backers) or my social media (Twitter | Tumblr), you'll probably know all of these news by now. But for those who don't, here's a belated recap of all the exciting stuff that's gone down and the current state and plans of the game!
I've already mentioned that Aldrias' route was released for beta in the last Itch.io devlog here, but since then, two more routes of Reanimation Scheme have been released for beta!
Jori's route has started being pushed out for beta as well — currently, the first three chapters of his route have been released to beta players!
If you are a Kickstarter backer who pledged for beta access reward ($50 tier and above), you should have received a private message on Kickstarter from me with a download link to the beta build.
Otherwise, if you're interested in playing Jori's route early, you can grab time-limited access to beta updates for Reanimation Scheme on my Patreon which is updated monthly!
The game is currently very close to completion! A quick summary:
At this current pace, I'm expecting the game to be released Q3 this year. I'll make a post when I have a concrete release date to announce!
Now that I need to prepare for the game launch that's drawing ever closer, I'll start focusing more on marketing efforts. So to start that off... if you haven't wishlisted the game on Steam yet, please please consider doing so! (https://store.steampowered.com/app/1520740/Reanimation_Scheme/)
The more wishlists the game can get before launch, the more visibility it'll get on Steam, which will help a small indie like me out a lot! 🙏
Okay, I think that's all I have to say for now, so I'll wrap up the post here. I'll make more devlog updates as we progress further through Jori and Sebastien's route betas and prepare for full game launch.
To all of you who've been so patiently waiting for this game: thank you so much for the kind support and understanding over the years!! 😭 I really appreciate you all, and I can't wait to share this labor of love with you.
Until next time! 💖
