The latest update for this project included a new enemy with some more to come. Also made a wave mode to further test out the combat for the game.
New Enemy
- Enemies wield a sword and will approach and attack the player
- These enemies will flinch and get knocked back when they are being attacked
- Enemies interact with each other to take turns attacking the player
CHANGES
- Boss, player, and other enemies have some color to tell them apart
- Enemies now spawn into the test area and the player can continue to fight through harder and harder waves
- Added SFX to sword hits and boss shooting animation
- Added some smoothing between attack animations and running. Player shouldn't freeze after completing attacks anymore
