Unfortunately, our previous prototyping efforts fell short last week, because we got sidetracked too much by the chaos destruction. Because of this, we had to spend another week prototyping to make sure we could actually pull this off. Firstly, we focused on proper item interaction. The player can now punch objects, as well as pick them up, and throw them. Picking up an object finally works properly, and the object will float above the player’s head for as long as the button’s being pressed. When the button’s released, the object gets thrown and when it collides with anything, it takes damage.
We've implemented Multiplayer! for some reason it's important for a local multiplayer game. It currently spawns the same amount of players as connected (Xbox , can be emulated) controllers. Do note you need at least 1 controller to play. Since it's local multiplayer, we thought it would be more fun with a centralized camera so we have a scaling camera depending on the distance between players capped above and below.
