After working on the art and animations for the first boss in the game, I have finished, although I struggled with the animation style, I finalised my decision and decided to use Dragonbones, with smooth animation and easy controls, it meant that I could get the style that I wanted whilst giving myself an easier time. The next part of this project is to get the animations into Unity and get the hitboxes working.
