Here is a list of every issue / bug found at PAX East 2024!
Remaining bugs from last release:
- Attack is still too slow
- There is still no indication of how to advance dialogue
New bugs / issues:
- The player's collider should be flat on the bottom so they stop falling off of ledges
- This also causes them to get stuck falling on spikes
- You can get stuck in the air when trying to do some combination of float/bubble/jump at the same time
- Player should not be able to collide with (or JUMP ON???) their bubble
- The tutorial prompt for teaching floating should specify that you need to be grounded
- Missing indication that pits do not kill you
- Enemies can come to you when you are at a checkpoint in the entrance room
- You can warp into another room while dying
- Certain rooms' loading zones are not off screen
- The torpedo enemy does not automatically die after being released from a bubble
- The lizard enemy will sometimes be knocked towards you when you hit it
- The front grounded attack's hitbox should be extended
- Coins are lit inconsistently
- Torpedoes should not be movable by other enemies before they have come out of the ground
- Fans should be less strong
- The tentacle-orb plant should give the player EXP, everyone expects it to do something
- With the new extended hitboxes, the player can activate doors from the wrong side
- The small waterfall background element has too fast an animation
- The sock enemies can clip into the floor in the room where they are in small corridors
- The game should have achievments (?)
- The light on the shopkeeper is too harsh
- When the player shoots a bubble at a wall standing in front of it, the bubble pops. It should start further forward.
- The player should walk slower during a dash attack
- The sock enemy jumps a little too far
- There are invisible platforms in the shop room
- Hearts respawn when you exit and enter the room
- The snail enemy shouldn't be able to get knocked down on its side
- You can get stuck floating if you land perfectly on the corner of a block after getting hit
- The boss does not function in the build
- The bobbing enemies should be able to be hit for knockback but not damage
- Flying fish should die when they hit the ground
- Bubbles should trigger buttons
- The letters on the title screen should be more spaced out
- Torpedo enemies can have bubbles coming out of them for added visibility
- Attacking in the air can clip you through walls that are one block thick
- If you pick up a heart while at full health, it still adds to your health
