Hello again, I've managed to finally release the 1.3.2 update for Leaden Sky: Nightmares.
It's been a lot of work but now I can finally start developing Chapter 2 which all of you have been waiting for.
The update is big and contains a lot of improvements for the game, here goes the list:
- environments have significantly more details now
- added ambient occlusion
- rebalanced color palette
- quick knife melee attack added
- added another enemy type
- added basic controls tutorial at the start of the game
- cutscene pictures have been improved in terms of quality and detail
- increased rendering resolution
- increased rendering distance
- improved materials and textures
- improved post-processing
- lonely road has been remade into something much more abstract and interesting
- gardens level is more open now and doesn't force backtracking
- added "Prison of Thoughts" and more references to the original Leaden Sky
- added level transition screens with storytelling elements
- added more sound cues to enemies
- remade HUD
- rebalanced combat
- rebalanced AI
- difficulty modes
- more combat
- new ambient tracks and new music in general
- glowing sights added to SMG and shotgun
- improved blood decals
- enemy heads now explode from gunfire
- wound decals on enemies
- ragdoll physics for one of the enemy types
- dry branches which crack under npcs and players feet
- added tactical leaning left and right
