#Release Notes
Decided to start posting the release notes here as well as GitHub. So, here goes.
Another small release, gearing up towards the end of the combat overhaul.
This is a small change, but an important one. Now that Sound Effects are becoming more and more prevalent, it made sense to add an option, and even more sense to combine that option with Music.
From the depths comes a cursed being; The Necromancer! This new enemy is a danger to any who dare face him, but the rewards he gives are truly great. That reward is a new Custom Weapon; The Staff of the Necromancer. It's a powerful weapon with an even more powerful spell Murder. Murder will instantly kill any enemy you use it against, but it has a very low chance to hit.
Bones has been in the game for a while, but with the rebuild of the combat system, I kept forgetting to give him his loot back. Much like the Necromancer, Bones has a Custom Weapon as well; Bones' Bow. It's not a very powerful weapon, but Bones isn't a powerful boss either.
I actually had the wrong loot assigned to Yilani. This is actually because Yilani was originally supposed to be a different boss, but he got swapped out for someone else.
This might get another change in the future to scale with the type of Dungeon Key, but for now, all the dungeons have a minimum of 5 rooms. Dungeons are still completely random, this only guarantees the first 5 rooms exist, not their location.
Since all Dungeons are now a minimum of 5 rooms, it didn't make sense to have a Boss Dungeon that was also 5 rooms. So every Boss Dungeon has gotten a boost to their respective room counts.
This is probably something nobody would notice, but I did and it bothered me. There was 1 missing, 3 extruding and 12 misplaced pixels on every bow. That has been fixed in this update.
Below are images of the Original Bow, the New Bow, and the Changes Made:
Like I said, nothing nobody was going to notice, but something I still wanted to fix.
