Hope you're all having a lovely week and not spending your whole existence refreshing a Kickstarter page to see if numbers go up...not that I'm doing that, nope, not me...nope...
So I've been using a side project to learn some new bits and bobs about GB Studio and one of the big things I've been getting to grips with recently is Tile Swapping thanks to the AMAZING Tile Swapping plugin. This means I can breath life into the levels of Bubble Frog and make the NPC screens even nicer because I'm not relying on sprites to do the heavy lifting!
So recently Bubble Frog made it into the Fresh Games list here on itch! This means it went from getting 30-50 views a day to getting thousands! It's been pretty mind blowing and as these stats show, you don't need to be at the top of the Popular Tab to see insane interaction on here :D
Yup it's already been 20 days since the start of the Kickstarter Campaign for Bubble Frog DX/Steam Release! We've hit the "nice" mile stone of 69% and with 10 days to go the Goal is teasingly close with only £1085 left to go!

WRAPPING IT UP!
So as some may know the PC build of Bubble Frog uses an awesome prototype tool made by the amazing Mooon. Well after nagging him a lot me and Mooon have released Bubble Wrap! Named after it's job of being a Game Boy ROM Wrapper and after its origin as a tool for Bubble Frog, Bubble Wrap aims to make .exe (and other application extensions based on your OS) a more viable option with a nicer look as currently the most common ways to wrap up a .gb file into a .exe have some issues like requiring the player to click the game window to start audio and stuff.
The tools still very young but already it's gotten a nice update with Full Screen and a Volume Slider! :D It's also hiiiighly customisable so you could heavily modify it to make something unique to your game (like we're doing with Bubble Frog).
