Progress Report #106: March 2024
Hello everyone ๐
Welcome to the second progress report of March!
This week we are showcasing some in-game footage of how the first section of the new Tripteen dungeon plays out with the lighting systems.
Letโs get into the deets below โฌ๏ธ
First up, we have the Art Segment:
- A new combat outcome is now in concepting phase, with the focus on highlighting robotics.
- Caly is always in need of new clothes - they are (for some reason) not very durable ๐. We have finished all of the clothing variations for the combat status pictures.
- We added a new combat status pose for the new enemies of Tripteen.
- We have finished all the new combat cut ins for the normal Tripteen enemies! The boss is next in the pipeline ๐ฎ
Next we have the Story:
- Currently writing all the little details for inside the dungeon, from points of interest containing some lore tidbits to interactable objects. ๐ฑ๏ธ
- Two Sections are essentially done but we're going through and testing them, making sure everything runs smoothly together.
- Two more sections to polish up after that.
Lastly the Coding:
- We have successfully implemented the new movement points ๐ถโโ๏ธ and speed settings, which we are currently testing and balancing for the next update.
- We are overhauling the naughty aspect of our combat system for this update, making sure it is more interactable and impactful than before without compromising the speed of combat.
