Risk system - big update
Big progress update
You have 2 choices for the currency you accumulate. (Shards)
- Bank your Shards at a tent. When stored they're subject to a fluctuating value
- Carry your shards and risk losing them all on death
Further points about the Risk system
- Shards will have to be withdrawn to make dangerous trips to vendors
- If banked, Shards can only be withdrawn in total
- Shard value fluctuations influenced by other players
- Shards used for random vendors and Squish training
Other changes
- Added 2 new areas: The big bridge & Crossroads
- Added new mini boss NPC
- Adjusted AI for mini bosses
- Added rain and fog weather FX
- Adjusted player animations for directional walking
- Fixed bug making breaking barrels difficult
- Replaced torch asset with a unique one
- Redesigned Woods of Orin to be less open
- Added secret gate in Woods of Orin
- Added pig to the bottom of the well
- Lots of random bug fixes
- Lots of random polish
With this update the core of the game is finally finished. Every gameplay system is in place!

- Areas to freely explore
- Enemies & Mini bosses
- Extensively tested PVP
- Squish system (virtual pet)
It's been over a year but the game is literally a game now.
