Second Chapter!

70's Slime WG Game
A downloadable game for Windows

The game has been updated, and the story continues!

Warning: IF YOU HAVE A SAVE FROM THE PREVIOUS VERSION, START A NEW ONE! Some technical things have been added in previous segments, so you will miss these features if you migrate an older save, and later down the line, you may be stuck! This is the only time this will happen, since I had to include new switches, and add the quests from the start.

Many things have changed under the hood, mostly technical stuff, and quality of life changes. Some sprites have been redone, a quest menu has been added, bugs have been fixed, amongst other things.

New sidequests have been added too: Go to labs A-3 and A-5 for new events, previously WIP! These events, and the other ones already shown before, will continue having new stages as the game progresses. So later down the line, you can come back to these events, and see that things have continued to grow...

An related to sidequests, one of the things added are switches to prevent you from missing content. Previously, you kind of had to come back to check the NPC's each time something changed to not miss any stage, but now, I've started to make the new events with switches preventing this, so quests won't advance unless you see every stage. This sometimes means talking with a character, leaving the room, and coming back inside.

While designing new characters and making new maps, I noticed that some sprites didn't have good contrast with the floors and backgrounds. Mostly the labcoats, that had a very muted grey color. So using the palette from a labcoat found in one of the DLC that come with the game, I updated all of them, so they look a lot better! Same goes for some portraits.

This update wouldn't have been posible without Erikwulf, for his help with writing, ideas, and making dialogue sound better, Cj, for showing me a very cool way of making animations look a lot better (really, a lot better!) and PeachClamNine, for plugin help.
