I talk about the motivation and rationale, as well as the improvements which solve glTF’s issues.
Currently, I am working on cleaning some last parts of the Unity codebase, before moving on to creating an implementation for Godot 4. Having this work between two different game engines should lead to file format being significantly legitimized.
