Devlog 3: Starting the Cameras

Five Nights at Fredbear's
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux

Hello, everyone! Today, I've released FNAFB v0.0.3, which features a few new additions.

Cameras! (more or less)

This update features the beginnings of the game's camera system. At the moment, all of the cameras (and a few other things) are using some Minecraft placeholders because I can't 3D model or draw to save my life. Also, many of the assets are taken from the previous version of FNAFB before I increased the native resolution. Therefore, some of the assets may be blurry or low-quality. This will be fixed soon!

Below are the current names of each room and their camera number...

  1. Main Stage
  2. Dining Room
  3. Kitchen
  4. Party Room
  5. Parts and Service

Currently, I plan on having five cameras that can be viewed by the player. The map of the diner has also been changed, with the office now having two entrances, the main hallway in front and a side vent from the Party Room.

An Actual* Office

Also in this update is the beginnings of an office scene for the player! Of course, this scene also uses Minecraft placeholders. I added this office to the game very quickly to provide an easy avenue to test the camera monitor, which is why there isn't any clock or night number anywhere. All you can do in the office right now is toggle the monitor.

Anyways, that's about all for now. Please give this version of Five Nights at Fredbear's a shot and tell me what you think. Thank you for reading, and have a wonderful day!
