Development Updates #12
In the last 2 weeks we were mainly working on Quests System, changing how spells projectiles travel and making enemies smarter.
Added:
- [New System] Added Quests System. From now on special NPC appears in every level giving quests with great rewards to make every run even more unique!
- [Optimization] Reduced game's size by a little bit more than 50% (2,1GB => 0,9GB) at the cost of unnoticeable reduction of art's quality. Memory usage has also been drastically reduced.
- [Spells] Many projectiles now accelerate / decelerate while flying (for example Gravity Ball projectile stops mid-air after flying for short duration to it's destination).
- [Spells] Some projectiles now wiggle while traveling.
- [Leveling up] You now heal 40 health and regenerate 75 mana after leveling up (which can be increased by buffs)
- [Perks] Added 3 new Perks.
- [Enchantments] Added 2 new Enchantments.
- [Achievements] Added 3 new Steam Achievements.
Changed:
- [Enemies] Enemies now search for player in a smarter way.
- [Enemies] Elite enemies now have increased level, meaning that most of them will start acting differently on top of having better stats.
- [Enemies] Reduced amount of enemies spawning on higher difficulty levels.
- [Curses] Curse of Eternal Battle now spawn enemies less often.
- [Chests] Improved chests descriptions (for example Spiked Chest says that it deals X damage)
Fixed:
- [Magic Weapons] Fixed aiming of Magic Weapons. They now also always reappear when they are ready to use.
- [Spells] Fixed a bug where Time Travel shadow was moonwalking.
- [Progression] Fixed a bug where it was possible to use some of not unlocked yet items.
- [Enemies] Fixed a bug where Toxic Slime was able to jump in some cases.
