I’ll be honest with ya. I’ve been so deep in Kitsune Plaza development, that by the end of the day, I’m just too wiped out to post a devlog. But just because things have been quiet on here, doesn’t mean work hasn’t been done.
So many new things since I last updated, but the major thing would be almost all the rooms I was aiming to get done within this gamejam month has been completed! It’s possible to now play from beginning, get a powerup, then continue on to get a key to unlock doors, then continue on to a previously inaccessible door.
I just need to design a couple more rooms, and I’ll be at the first boss’s room, which will be the milestone I aimed to hit for the gamejam.
From then on, I’ll sprinkle the game with some placeholder enemies (have some designed already, but not animated) and it’ll be a completely playable demo (albeit a really buggy one).
I’ve only about a week or so left, but I think I can get Kitsune Plaza up to that stage by end of gamejam.
