Tales of Asraco
A downloadable game

Hello everyone welcome to the first of many devlog’s showing you guys the development progress of Tales of Asraco

In this post I will cover the work I've done in February and beginning of March

So without further ado let's get into it

01/02/2024 - 10/02/2024

General brainstorming 

  • I’ve had the idea for the Game and started working on a general draft

Twine/Blender work

  • Added various types of buttons to the ui so the game would function for testing
  • Started working on a rough draft for the first Map of Tales of Asraco for testing purpose
  • Started testing animations for walking and breathing

11/02/2024  - 16/02/2024

Menu work

  • Added background animation for Menu
  • Added start button
  • Added saves button

Cave work

  • Added first rough 3d model for the cave in Tales of Asraco
  • Added Buttons for various stations inside the cave 
  • Added cave inventory
  • Added map ui to choose location

Choose location screen

  • Added ui 
  • Added buttons to choose location

Blender work

  • Started working on final version of the cave 3d model
  • Started working on final version of the first map

17/02/2024 - 23/02/2024

Variables

  • Added various variables such as Hunger, Hydration, Energy
  • Added Enemy variables
  • Added various item variables

Items

  • Added items such as Food and Drinks
  • Added items needed for crafting
  • Added various buttons to items such as Eat and Drink
  • Added a button to transfer items to in run backpack

Blender work

  • Added various item textures
  • Continued working on first map
  • Continued working on cave model
  • Added Icons for stations

24/02/2024 - 29/02/2024

Variables 

  • Added various variables for loot spots at first location

  • Added random loot on different passages
  • Added Enemy passages 
  • Added extraction points

  • Finished final version of cave ui
  • Continued  working on first map
  • Started working on various item ui’s

  • Added final ui to cave

  • Added backpack ui
  • Added transfer buttons to transfer back to inventory
  • Added Eat and Drink buttons
  • Added function that removes items from backpack when player dies
