The features I wanted to add in V0.3 aren't done, but the game is in a playable state so I wanted to get this update out for the feedback quest game jam.
The tutorial is still in the works, and so is a lot more so consider this part 1 of "the main menu update", how riveting.
There are some changes so here they are in a wonderful list format:
Update summarised:
Major changes:
A new main menu with the ability to quit the game, go to settings, and start the game.
Settings that allow you to change the general volume and the colour of the ball.
A new "title screen" that shows up when you start the game.
1 new map.
Recoloured a few things, changed a couple sprites, and added some more decoration.
Minor changes:
Return card now costs no multiplier.
Cursed extra flipper no longer takes 1 multiplier and instead sets all flipper stress to 2.5 (0.5 seconds away from deactivating).
Bouncers from the extra bouncer card now always give multiplier when hit.
Made a lot of changes to the "loop" map.
Moved every card bouncer that was blocking the level exit.
Life bouncers now have a cooldown essentially.
Added the secret squirrel.
