The future of 32rogues

32rogues
A downloadable asset pack

I've been humbled by the positive response of 32rogues in the roguelike and larger gamedev community since it was released earlier this week!  I really hope it helps you all in your game making process, whether the 32rogues sprites are used as placeholders early on in prototyping, or they are part of your full game release.

Given the response, I wanted to make a short post to explain what I'm envisioning for the future of 32rogues. These sprites are something I've been working on-and-off on over the past year, and I plan to keep tinkering with them intermittently.  This means that 32rogues will be seeing a few small updates every now and then, on no particular schedule, as I work on other projects in between.

That said, I'm planning on doing at least one larger push of content every year that releases just before 7 Day Roguelike Challenge.  At least until the asset bundle has enough content to cover all the basic graphics you would need for a simple roguelike.

I would like your feedback to help me build out the tiles and sprites that would be most helpful for your game development. If there are any particular sprites you'd like to see in the future, please fill out this short form with your requests--it will let me know what is lacking and what people want to see.
