Root Woodland Generator 1.0
The 5 edit modes are able to be switched between in the top left of the screen
- (Write) Click on a clearing to edit it's name, species and faction presence
- (Move) Click and drag a clearing around to move it
- (Create) Click on an empty space to create a clearing or click and drag from a clearing to another clearing to create a path
- (River) Removes the current river, click on a clearing to have the river run through it
- (Delete) Click on a path or clearing to delete it
The 6 Randomization options are available in the top right of the screen
- (Woodland) Generates an entirely new woodland
- (Paths) Generates new paths
- (River) Generates a new river
- (Factions) Opens the faction menu, factions you would like to generate can be toggled on and off. Clicking on the tick will generate the chosen factions
- (Denizens) Generates new denizens
- (Names) Generates new names
Pressing the escape key will open the save/load panel in the middle of the screen with the following options
- (Save) Type a name in the box and click the tick to save your current layout in the MyWoodlands folder in Documents
- (Load) Select a .wdld file from the list to load that woodland layout
- (Exit) Exits the game
