Hi everyone.
I just found out that the template didn't work as expected for Godot 4.2 stable. This is due to to engine named has_focus() function, which didn't exist before, colliding with my custom made one. Also for some reason the signals properly connected anymore. The engine team might have changed something internally making this incompatible.
But everything is fixed now for Godot 4.2 stable and should work without a hitch. Just download the template again if you have encountered these problems in the past.
