The demo is out! I said this week, and with like 2 minutes remaining, it’s here (my evidence is the timestamp on the downloadable .exe, you can't tell me I didn't make my deadline). Much like vampires, game devs work best at night.

Please let me know any feedback: good, bad -- if it’s bad I appreciate constructive criticism, not just “this sucks (and not even in the bloodsucking way)”. I won’t be fixing minor bugs in the demo, but if there’s anything that affects the overall experience I’ll update it.
I’ll be consistent on updates about the full version. It’s always the final steps that catch you: adding sounds, timing animations, and dealing with UI elements that decide to go on an adventure. Funnily enough, the intro in the demo had the most work needed. In a declaration steeped in pure hubris, the rest shouldn’t be too hard. I'm aiming to have it finished by the end of March 2024.
