v.0.9.3 - Animated Styloid, Fixed Hi Score Bug, Improved Movement
v.0.9.3 is here! It includes a few quality-of-life updates and bug fixes.
- Changed vertical movement speed from 5px to 6px per frame to increase the movement speed.
- Animated the Styloid (Enemy baddie)
- Increased the Number of active Torpedoes to 4 from 3
- Updated Hull Health
- to be ZZZ and represent the depth of the captain's sleep.
- added the ability to recover sleep % by avoiding impacts for 15 seconds, the captain will drift back into deep sleep by 1% per second.
- Updated Game Over
- Submarine is no longer removed from the screen when Game Over is reached
- Made Final Score flash Yellow so it's a little more obvious.
- Minor dialogue improvements
At this point I feel like the game is pretty playable, having the 'health' regenerate added a new dimension of play to the game.
