I finished posing scene 27 - segment 2 and I'm now working on the third segment.
Posing the first few shots of that segment took quite some time. There are a lot of characters in that scene and the initial pose is always the most time-consuming. But it's done and the following shots should be easier to pose.
I encountered a more serious issue than simple posing, however. Six characters will appear in that scene, and with a complex environment (the diner set). And that's a lot of geometry and texture. Simply put, I don't have enough vram to properly render some of the shots I have planned.
I had to make a choice and remove the city exterior I had set up around the Moonriver Diner. I'm considering my options. Maybe I can replace that with an hdri, if I find something fitting. If not, I'll simply have no exterior at all and the night will be very dark (and full of terrors). It's a bit jarring to have these large black windows filled with nothingness, but I'd rather render the characters properly than have an exterior that will be barely visible anyway. I'll search for some adequate hdri during the weekend and decide on Monday morning before posing any more shots.
