#Rockets #Paper Prototyping
Hi guys.
So I was required to recreate a paper prototype of my app for an assignment for one of the modules.
I created the paper mock-up of my app, learning from the previous paper prototypes I had done and the feedback that I had received so far. When I was finished creating the paper mock-up, I got some TUDublin students to test the app while I observed them and gave them commands. During this testing phase, I was able to get 4 people to test my app. Based on user feedback from the pre-recorded testing session, two key features were mentioned for the app.
The first feature mentioned was a search system enabling users to search for a rocket by name or year. This feature was added across the entire app.
Additionally, feedback highlighted the need for a filter system on the rocket family tree to allow users to filter the family tree based on country. In response to this feedback. I redesigned the paper mock-up incorporating the feedback.
Once the changes were finished I got one more person the test my paper prototype. I recorded this user test. Overall the user was happy with the testing session and they were able to complete the different use cases that I gave them. In the end, I asked the user questions about what they liked and disliked and what they would change with the prototype.
User Testing Findings:
Hope you enjoyed this fifth post looking into my major project.
See you soon.
