Hello and welcome to my first devlog!
I want to discuss in more detail what is currently being worked on but I'll try to keep this as short as possible.
After working out the initial layout, location and scale of areas, I am currently working on adding more details to the blockout to better define these spaces. As the story is being worked on and ironed out, these areas are also evolving as a reflection of the narrative and worldbuilding.
While there's currently a critical path to the quest, branching player decisions are also in the works.
The current prototype does not have a proper dialogue system. In the future, the player will be able to select dialogue choices.
My current prototype only allows for destruction of objects. I will be working on expanding the ability system for more status effects that plays a role in how the player interacts with the environment.
The first-person character comes with sword and shield that can be useable for interacting in a future update.
Testing testing and testing everything in the project and gathering feedback for the next iteration! If you would also like to contribute by adding feedback in the comments I would greatly appreciate it! :)
There is a published design document available that is being worked on and updated.
